
Christogonus Kayode Daudu
Professor Christogonus Kayode Daudu is a distinguished Professor of Soil Science at the National Agricultural Extension Research & Liaison Services (NAERLS), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. His expertise spans soil fertility management, climate-smart agriculture, farming systems, and biosafety risk assessment. With a PhD in Soil Fertility Management from ABU Zaria, he has further enriched his global perspective through a Fulbright Scholarship at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Fort Hare, South Africa.
Prof. Daudu has led several multi-partner, donor-funded projects, including an AGRA initiative reaching over 350,000 farmers. He co-edited Nigeria’s national fertilizer use manual and has served on the National Fertilizer Technical Committee. Recognized as a Fellow of the African Scientific Institute and member of the International Plant Nutrition Council, his work bridges research, policy, and practical farming solutions. An engaging speaker, he brings decades of experience in developing resilient agricultural systems across Africa. He is committed to science that empowers farmers and promotes sustainable agriculture in Africa.
