Konrad Neugebauer
Konrad is a research associate at the crop production group of the Humboldt-University of Berlin (Germany). Konrad’s research is focused on the elemental composition, or ionome, of plants, with a particular interest in the evolution of distinct ionomes of different taxonomic groups. He aims to understand how the ionomes of modern crops are affected by changes in nutrient availability and drought stress and what consequences this may have on yield stability, produce quality and nutrient cycling.
