Paula Pongrac

Paula is a Senior Research Associate at the Jožef Stefan Institute, Slovenia, and an Assistant Professor at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. After obtaining her PhD in 2009 she completed postdocs with Prof. Stephan Clemens and Prof. Philip J. White and is now conducting research on localisation of elements and their ligand environment in plants tissues, focusing on elements lacking in diets and those potentially toxic. She is the contact person for plant-oriented access to microbeam ion beamline (enabling quantitative analysis of localisation of elements) at the Microanalytical Centre, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
